| What FileMaker product(s) do I need to run DBP Trade? What are the differences in FileMaker products? |
To run DBP Trade, you will need FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Server (optional).
* FileMaker Server: for database sharing over 10 users, auto live database backup and applying some
DBP Trade server side functions, e.g. Mail Merge, Auto Receive & File Incoming Emails.

If your computer can connect to the Internet, most likely it is ready for data sharing.

| Can I use my own FileMaker Licenses to run DBP Trade? |
| Yes. The latest version of DBP Trade supports FileMaker Version 11 or above. |

| Is your DBP Trade web-based? How do I access the database outside office? |
| DBP Trade already has built-in remote connection function to let user accessing the database from anywhere via Internet without using web browser. We do not make DBP Trade as a web-based system because it may cause our customers to spend money in Internet Security issue. |

| Does it still support Windows XP? |
| Yes, the system supports Windows XP Professional / Home Edition with Service Pack 3. |
|
| Does DBP Trade support database platform other than FileMaker, such as Oracle/ MS SQL? |
| DBP Trade runs on FileMaker platform only. |

| Can DBP Trade be integrated to our existing database system, e.g. SAP, SAGE? |
| Yes, possible through customization for data exchange, e.g. passing invoice information to SAGE, SAP, etc. |

| Is DBP Trade suitable for factories? |
| Yes, apart from general order processing functions, our system can auto create Production Orders, store/ keep track of BOM with relevant purchases, record material consumption and inventory movement of these materials. |

| Is DBP Trade suitable for R&D companies? |
| Yes, our Item Master and Document Library combination is a perfect tool for storing R&D information throughout different stages. |

| Is DBP Trade suitable for companies outside Hong Kong? |
| DBP Trade is suitable for companies worldwide; while some customization may be required to adapt to the local business environment, e.g. tax, accounting system, etc. |

| Can both of my HK and overseas offices use the database system? |
| Yes, we have a “Multi-Business” optional module. Both companies will access the same database but with multi-business support, each database record will show the relevant "Business" (e.g. HK or PRC); Report generation or Print Form printing will also be based on that "Business" (e.g. Quotation, PO, Sales Invoice can be printed with HK or China Company Name/ Contact Information/ Logo). |

| How much does your DBP Trade cost? How is it charged? Is a license needed? |
DBP Trade is license based; our minimum order is 5 user licenses. Extra customization is charged by development hours. The customized system is still under license control by DBP and it is not open sourced for customer.
FileMaker licenses, installation and training services can be quoted upon customer request. |

| Is the license valid for life? Do I need to pay every year to keep using DBP Trade? |
| Yes, the license is valid for life and bundled with a 60 Working Days Remote Support Service for bug fix and usage support starting from the system delivery. After the free remote support period, it is option of our customer to purchase our maintenance service. |

| Can I try DBP Trade before I decide to buy? |
| DBP Trade is a large scale ERP solutions so it will be better to have our Consultant providing a product presentation in early stage instead of testing by customer themselves. |

| Can I buy just 1 DBP Trade License? |
| Minimum order of DBP Trade is 5 user licenses. Single license purchase applies on re-order only. |

| Does DBP have sales representative office outside Hong Kong? |
| No, please contact our office at Hong Kong directly. If you are interested in promoting DBP Trade in your area, please let us know. |

| Can you arrange a product demo meeting? |
| Yes, our Project Team will first study customer requests and then give an estimated project spending. If it is within the budget range of customer we can arrange a demo meeting. |

| Yes, our system can store/ keep track of BOM, relevant purchases, buffer quantity, material consumption for finished product productions and all inventory movements. |

| Yes, our system supports multiple currencies. |

| Can DBP automate order entry? |
| Yes, with customization you may import Sales Order to the database via a formatted Excel template, for example. |

| Can I manage different warehouses with the system? |
| Yes, our system supports multiple warehouses. |

| Does DBP Trade support FIFO (First In First Out)/ LIFO (Last In First Out)? |
| Yes, the system supports both types of inventory method. |

| Does DBP Trade support warehouse stock taking using RFID/ Barcode Readers? |
| Yes, extra cost for RFID/ Barcode reading devices and customization are required. |

| Can DBP Trade print barcode labels? |
| Yes, extra cost for FileMaker Barcode plug-in and customization are required. |

| Can I print out document such as PO, Quotes with signature and company chop? |
| Yes, DBP Trade is bundled with Electronic Signature function. |

| Does the photos and other media linked to products are stored inside the software or only the access path to the file? |
| Yes, Product photos and media are stored within DBP Trade Database Files. There is 8000GB storage capacity available. |

| Does your Email module support IMAP? |
| IMAP is not yet supported in our current software but user can still send/ receive email in our software via SMTP/ POP3. |

| Is it required another email server to run your Email Module? |
| No need. DBP Trade Email Module serves as an email client similar as MS Outlook. |

| Do I still need using MS Outlook or Mail to manage email after using DBP Trade? |
You can send emails directly from DBP Trade and the system can receive and file incoming emails automatically (FileMaker Server required). However, all email sent and received in DBP Trade are tend to share to other DBP Trade users. DBP recommends still managing your emails via your original email application such as MS Outlook.
For receiving, you can first receive in your MS Outlook and only forward those DBP Trade relevant emails (such as inquiry, order relevant email) to an email address in DBP Trade.
For sending, you can compose and send out directly from DBP Trade and cc to your own email address in MS Outlook (because sending out quotes, purchase orders by DBP Trade is much faster than using MS Outlook). |

| Can we use the system on iPad or iPhone? |
| Yes, user will need to purchase FileMaker Go via App Store directly. Extra DBP Trade licenses based on the no. of connection may be required. Over 90% of DBP Trade functions are tested to be able to run on iPad and iPhone. |

| How to migrate our existing data into the DBP Trade system? |
Contact/ Item Data
We have a “Standard Data Migration” optional module. Formatted Excel templates will be provided for user to input relevant information and then import data to our DBP Trade Contact Module and Item Module.
Order Processing Data
Brought Forward Balance of SO and PO Balance Quantity can be entered manually using new SO/ PO
records separated by customers/ suppliers.
Inventory/ Stock Data
Brought Forward Balance of Stock can be entered manually using new Stock Adjustment record.
General Ledger Data
Brought Forward Balance of General Ledger can be entered manually using new Voucher record. |

| Is DBP Accounting Module adapted to the China mainland accounting system? |
| Some customization may be required for China accounting system; you may further discuss your requirement with our Project Team. |

| Do you provide the software in other language versions? |
| The software interface is in English but the system supports multi-languages. Users can input data in any languages such as English, French, Chinese, etc. |

| Customization and After Sales Support |

| Can the system be customized? What is then the daily or hourly cost to add features and tailor made these solutions? |
| Yes, DBP Trade is customizable!
Most of our customers will need some customizations to fit their business requirements.
We have a standard hourly rate for development and also have some discount packages (20 / 50 / 100 hours) for selection. |

| How does DBP process customization? |
| Our project consultant will discuss the customization requests with customer and prepare specification for customer approval before development. User Acceptance Test and System Fine-Tuning will be provided. |

| Can I customize DBP Trade on my own? |
| No, DBP Trade is not open-sourced. We offer customization services while the customized DBP Trade system is still under the license control of DBP. However, you can customize new FileMaker Database files to get data from it. To learn more how it works, please contact our project team. |

| How to get usage support after buying DBP Trade? |
| The license is bundled with a 60 Working Days Remote Support Service for bug fix and usage support starting from the system delivery. After the free remote support period, it is option of our customer to purchase our maintenance service. |

| Can I still get usage support if I am not in Hong Kong? |
| Yes, with Remote Support Service Contract we offer email or phone support subject to office hour in Hong Kong - 9am to 6pm (GMT +8). |

| What if DBP does not provide support to DBP Trade anymore or no longer in business? |
| DBP has been in database development business since 1997. We can sign an agreement with customer before project commencement. If DBP is no longer in business or no longer able to provide support to DBP Trade, DBP agrees to release Master Password of the product to customer within 30 days following a written notice of release request is received. |
